Call for Women’s Health Stories for TNP Advocacy Video
With the support of the T.L.L. Temple Foundation, the TNP Foundation is launching a video project to capture women’s and maternal health patient stories from across Texas to feature in an advocacy video in support of full practice authority for nurse practitioners (NPs).
TNP is looking for positive impact stories from patients with a women’s health or maternal health focus to feature in this video. We want to showcase stories about the critical difference an NP made in these patients’ lives—whether it was a life-saving screening or diagnosis, getting timely care to Texas women when they needed it, or extending care to rural or underserved populations.
If you have recommendations or a patient story to share with us, please contact erin@texasnp.org and put “Women’s Health Stories” in the subject line.
We will travel on-location for some patient filming and coordinate travel to Austin for others. TNP will reimburse and make all travel-related arrangements for interviewees.
Thank you for helping us advocate for removing barriers so we can expand access to all Texans! We hope to hear from you with your stories!
