Roger Chapman MSN APRN FNP-C

As a native of East Texas, Roger began his nursing career in 1997 upon graduation from Tyler Junior College. In 2014, he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University in Denver, Colorado where he was chosen as the sole recipient of the Excellence in Nursing Award. Subsequently that same year, he enrolled at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts for his Master of Science in Nursing and the Nurse Practitioner program. After obtaining his Master's Degree and Nurse Practitioner license, Roger continued working in pain management and has over 20 years of experience in treating patients with various acute and chronic pain conditions. In 2018, he became interested in headache management, and did extensive training with Dr. Allison Hennigan, a Neurologist in Tyler, Texas. Roger was the sole practitioner at Headache and Pain Institute in Tyler, treating patients with various types of primary and secondary headache syndromes. In February of 2022, Roger and his team joined Precision to have a greater opportunity to treat patients across East Texas who suffer from daily pain caused by debilitating headaches. Roger's passion is treating patients across the lifespan with various headache diagnoses, and seeing them experience pain freedom with improved quality of life and function. Roger also maintains an interest in hospice and end-of-life care and continues to treat patients in various outpatient settings who suffer from chronic pain due to a terminal illness.
